Action Express Racing has long been a competitive force in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, and the Battle on the Bricks at Indianapolis has become one of its most memorable venues. The 2025 Battle on the Bricks marked a major highlight for the team. The No. 31 Whelen Cadillac V-Series.R, driven by Jack Aitken, Earl Bamber and Frederik Vesti, started from near the front and went on to lead a dominant portion of the six-hour race. They held off rival Cadillac entries to secure the team’s first victory of the season – a dramatic result that ended a winless stretch and underscored AXR’s resilience and racecraft. It was a hard-fought triumph, with the trio managing strategy, traffic and cautions to take the checkered flag by less than a second.
