Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring 2027

Action Express Racing has forged an impressive and dramatic legacy at the Twelve Hours of Sebring, one of North America’s toughest endurance races. The team first made headlines at Sebring in 2015, when its No. 5 Mustang Sampling Corvette DP – driven by João Barbosa, Christian Fittipaldi and Sébastien Bourdais – delivered a dominant performance, leading 246 of 340 laps to win overall by a full lap. That victory was particularly historic as it gave Chevrolet its first overall Sebring win in 50 years, and marked the first time a modern United SportsCar Championship car had lapped the field at Sebring.
Since then, Action Express has continued to be a front-running contender. In 2019, its No. 31 Cadillac DPi shared by Pipo Derani, Eric Curran and Felipe Nasr again dominated, leading much of the race and taking victory. Most recently, at the 2023 Mobil 1 12 Hours of Sebring, the team scored another overall win in the fiercely competitive GTP era – with Jack Aitken, Pipo Derani and Alexander Sims holding off late drama and chaos on track to take the checkered flag. Through triumphs and intense battles, Action Express’s Sebring experience reflects endurance racing’s blend of strategy, speed and resilience.
