BIOGRAPHY

Terry Borcheller is one of the most experienced drivers in the Rolex Sports Car series garage. Terry’s successful career spans over thirty years and Borcheller has collected 27 wins for his efforts. Terry has lead over 1000 laps in GRAND-AM racing and is always a threat for the top spot on the podium.

Terry began his career in Karting and won the 1983 WKA Karting National Championship followed shortly by a win in the Skip Barber Ford Championship. Borcheller went on to amass six professional championships including his Rolex series DP title in 2003. Terry joined Brumos Racing in 2007 at the final round and again at the Rolex 24 to start the 2008 season. In 2009 Brumos once again called on Borcheller’s services for the Rolex 24 and the team earned a hard fought podium finish.
In addition to Terry’s time in GRAND-AM he has competed 5 times in the 24 hours of Lemans, completing each event and finishing on the podium one time.

In 2011 Borcheller was teamed up with Joao Barbosa and JC France and achieved 2 podium positions and 1 win at VIR in May. The 2012 season will feature the 50th anniversary of the Rolex 24 Hour event. Terry will once again be teamed with Joao Barbosa, JC France and Max Papis as he tries to capture win number four at the Rolex 24 (two overall wins and one class win).

There is a good chance that Terry will be surrounded by many teens when he is not behind the wheel. Terry is very active with Motorsports Ministries and enjoys working with kids in the ‘Racing for Jesus’ program.
